Temporary Internet Files should be emptied on a daily basis. IamGame requires the use of Internet Explorer 6.0 to play our games. Following are the steps necessary for cleaning out your cache.
Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0: This browser uses two different ways to empty temporary Internet files. The player should use the one that they are most comfortable with.
1. Go to your Menu Bar and click on Tools. Click on Internet Options causing the Internet Options box to open. On the General Tab, within the box for Temporary Internet Files, click on the Delete Files button. A Delete Files question box will pop open, click OK. When the files are deleted, click OK again to close the Internet Options box. Re-boot your computer, leaving the computer shut down for at least 2 minutes.
2. If you do not want to go through this routine on a daily basis, Internet Explorer can be set up to automatically delete the Temporary Internet Files upon shut-down. To set your browser up for this option: Go to the Menu Bar and click on Tools. Click on Internet Options causing the Internet Options box to open. Click on the Advanced Tab. Scroll down to Security, and place a check in the Empty Temporary Internet Files Folder when browser is closed box. Click on Apply and OK. Re-boot your computer to enable the new settings.
